Intimate Cozy Casita•Close to Airport & Nightlife

Decent stay with everything needed in a decent location. Positive: Location was good, property had all amenities needed Negative: No hot water in the shower, pots and pans were old and outdated so all good stuck to them, cooking utensils were flimsy, hair in the shower and dirty shower floors, only AC in the bedroom, kitchen had a fan, the unit was double booked so I was put in another unit with no accommodation. I asked for a later checkout and was happy to pay additional but was only given an hour, considering the last minute changes.

Great base for a 4-night stay, if you have a car. Central location and Gabby, the host, was fab! Positive: Clean, comfortable and great communication. A bonus was a car parking space too.

I expected somthing else but ok. Positive: The decoration is the same. Bed was comfortable. It is well located near the library and two parks. Big enough for a small family or a couple. Host is nice and polite. The place has potential but it needs maintenance and better cleaning. The neighboorhood was safe to walk. Negative: The casita is on the back of the main house. Not sure who lives there or if there is more than one family living there. It is old and it is not well maintained. The outdoor area advertised is so different, we didn’t go to that area because it was disorganized, dirty, old and it was not inviting. Next to the main door, it is a small table with two chairs. The table had an used old cigarette. Cushions dirty and stained. The laundry room is outside and it was full of laundry. I ended up with allergy because there are so many cats and they were very noisy all night. Not sure who takes care of the cats. The parking is on the property whoever is shared and more cars can park next to yours. There are big trees with mangoes falling and you must be careful. And unfortunately something during my stay hit my new car and glass broke, we are thinking a stone was thrown or something fell from the tree and broke the glass during a stormy night. The stove stinks when you turn it on. The shower floor needs to be cleaned more often. And last, the bed had a weird very strong smell, like an “old spice” deodorant all over the sheets.

Positive: The nieborhood was walkable, home was cozy and clean. Fits 2 comfortably. Owner was responsive and helpful Negative: athroom was small and no ventilation. Parking was complicated for larger cars
